Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Castleford
Up to £45,000 DOE + Overtime (1.5x) + 15.5 Days Holiday (Increases up to 17.5 Days) + Pension + PPE/Workwear + Ongoing Training and Specialised Safety Certificates
4 on 4 off 6am to 6pm
Mechanical Fitter required for an industry specialist within manufacturing. This is a great opportunity to join a stable company who can offer job security and reliability.
The role would suit a mechanically biased engineer with an understanding of valves, pumps, motors, sprockets and chains.
Joining a small team, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and reactive maintenance when required on production equipment that operate 24/7. This will include working on bitumen blending tanks, high-speed lamination lines, and thermal oil systems.
Mechanical Fiter Role:
Reactive maintenance on breakdowns
PPMs on conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, rollers etc.
Working on hydraulic and pneumatic systems
MIG welding (experience not essential)
4 on 4 off shift pattern
Involvement in project works
Support shift work when required to cover holidays
