Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications and platform capabilities

- Configure and enhance ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM modules
- Design and implement complex workflows using Flow Designer and Workflow Engine
- Develop and support ServiceNow Mobile Applications
- Perform platform upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance activities
- Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development best practices and governance standards
CMDB & Service Configuration Management
- Design, implement, and maintain CMDB architecture and data models.
- Define and manage Configuration Item (CI) relationships and service mapping structures.
- Establish and enforce CMDB governance, data quality standards, and lifecycle management processes.
- .Support discovery and service mapping initiatives to improve configuration data accuracy.
Integration Design & Development
- Design, develop, and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and internal/external systems
- Build and support REST and SOAP-based integrations
- Implement both inbound and outbound integration solutions
- Design and implement integration architectures including:
- Synchronous integration
- Asynchronous integration
- Event-driven integration
- Utilized Integration Hub, Spokes, and MID Servers to deliver scalable integration solution
- Develop robust data transformation and mapping logic for JSON and XML payloads
- Ensure secure and efficient data exchange between systems
Monitoring & Support
- Implement integration monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform and integration-related issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and provide long-term remediation recommendations.
- Support production deployments and post-implementation activities.
- Maintain technical documentation, integration specifications, and solution designs
Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, platform administrators, and business stakeholders.
- Participate in solution design workshops and technical reviews
- Mentor junior developers and promote ServiceNow best practices across the team.
Required Skills & Experience
- Essential 7+ years of ServiceNow development experience
- Strong hands-on expertise in ServiceNow platform development and scripting
- Proven experience implementing and supporting ITSM and ITOM modules.
- Extensive experience with Flow Designer and workflow automation.
- Strong understanding of CMDB architecture, CI relationships, service mapping, and governance.
- Experience developing and supporting ServiceNow Mobile Applications
- Strong experience with REST and SOAP web services.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing ServiceNow integrations.
- Hands-on experience with Integration Hub ServiceNow, SpokesMID, ServersStrong knowledge of JSON, XML, data mapping, and transformation techniques.
- Experience implementing integration monitoring, logging, and error-handling frameworks
- Strong JavaScript development skills within the ServiceNow platform.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Desirable Experience with ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping.
- Experience integrating with cloud platforms, ERP systems, monitoring tools, and identity management solutions.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for ServiceNow.
- Exposure to ServiceNow CSM, HRSD, SecOps, or GRC modules.
