The role - what you will be doing
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a hands on role across the full project lifecycle. You will be doing:
Delivering electrical infrastructure design from feasibility through to detailed design
Producing calculations, reports and technical documentation
Supporting design assurance, technical reviews and stakeholder engagement
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and clients
Responding to site queries and supporting implementation phases
Contributing to testing and commissioning activities from a design perspective
What you will bring
To succeed as an Electrical Design Engineer, you will demonstrate:
Experience in electrical infrastructure design, ideally within ports, harbours or terminal infrastructure
Strong understanding of LV/HV power systems, utility networks and resilience strategies
Ability to produce technical calculations and design documentation
Experience using software such as Amtech/Trimble, ETAP, Dialux, AutoCAD or Revit
Effective communication skills and the ability to work within project teams
An Electrical Engineering degree and several years of relevant experience would be beneficial, though not essential.

You will be based in Kingston upon Thames, with office-based working during probation and a hybrid pattern thereafter (minimum three days in the office).
