Mechanical Design Engineer
An established andhighly successfulMEP design consultancy isseekingto appoint a Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer to jointheteam in Derry/Londonderry.

This well-established consultancy delivers full mechanical and electrical building services design across a broad portfolio of projectsincluding: residential, commercial,hotelsand retail. Joiningthisteam, you will gain exposure to all stages of the design process and play a key role in delivering innovative and practical building services solutions.
The company is open to engineers at varying levels of experience, with responsibilities tailored accordingly. More experienced candidates will have the opportunity to lead projects, mentor juniorengineersand take ownership of client relationships. Key Responsibilities
Design and specification of mechanical building services systems
Preparation of technical drawings,calculationsand reports
Working collaboratively with architects, structuralengineersand wider design teams
Supporting project delivery from concept through to completion
Attending client meetings and site visits asrequired
Liaising with contractors and construction teams during project delivery
Using and developing skills in 3D design and BIM software packages
Criteria
Degree qualified (or working towards qualification) in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
Experience within building services design consultancy would beadvantageous
Strong communicationand teamwork skills
Enthusiastic,motivatedand keen to develop professionally
Comfortable learning and working with 3D design software/BIM packages
Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
Confident attending site visits and engaging with construction professionals
Willingness to travel occasionally throughout Northern Ireland and the UK whenrequired
