Marketing Project Manager – in-house agency - 12 month FTC
Location: Birmingham (Hybrid)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Project Manager to join a leading in-house Creative Design team on a 12 month fixed term basis (with a high likelihood of going perm). This role would suit someone who has good experience working with marketing and/or comms teams, in the delivery of creative solutions - whether in-house or agency side.
The role comes with a competitive salary and great benefits and operates a hybrid model, 3 days in-office in central Birmingham.
About the role:
The successful candidate will join a specialist project management team responsible for overseeing creative requests from marketing and communications teams across global offices.
The Marketing Project Manager will oversee the end-to-end delivery of creative projects, specifically supporting Marketing and Comms stakeholders within the global business. Acting as the key link between stakeholders and the internal creative team.
Typical projects may include:
- Marketing campaign assets across digital, print and social
- Internal communications and employee engagement materials
- Presentations, proposals and branded collateral
- Event and conference creative assets
- Video, animation and multimedia requests
- Brand templates and global rollout projects
- websites
- Multi-channel campaigns with multiple stakeholder groups
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple concurrent projects from brief through to final delivery
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across marketing, communications and wider business teams
- Clarify briefs, define scope, timelines and deliverables
- Prioritise incoming requests and balance competing deadlines
- Coordinate designers, copywriters and other creative resource teams
- Lead review and approval processes, ensuring feedback is consolidated and actioned efficiently
- Track timelines, risks, dependencies and project progress
- Ensure projects are delivered to agreed deadlines, budgets and quality standards
- Continuously improve workflow, processes and stakeholder experience
About you:
- 3–5 years’ creative project management experience with good Marketing understanding
- Proven experience managing multiple internal stakeholders with competing priorities
- Strong background delivering creative, marketing or communications projects
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of projects, at pace
- Confident communicator able to influence and challenge constructively
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced matrix environment
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive, ownership-led approach
- Experience using project management/workflow tools would be advantageous
