A leading manufacturing business is looking to add a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to their established engineering team at their Diss site. This is a great opportunity to join a busy production environment with long term stability, strong investment and a well-structured engineering function.
The role will suit a mechanically biased engineer from a fast-paced manufacturing background who is confident working on breakdowns, PPMs and continuous improvement projects across production machinery and site equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Reactive and planned mechanical maintenance across site machinery.
Fault finding on conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, bearings and pneumatic systems.
Carrying out PPM work to minimise downtime and improve reliability.
Supporting production during breakdown situations to ensure targets are met.
Working closely with the wider engineering and production teams.
Assisting with machinery improvements and engineering projects.
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with site standards.
Requirements:
Previous experience working within a manufacturing or production environment.
Strong mechanical fault finding and maintenance experience.
Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics would be beneficial.
Comfortable working within a fast-paced environment.
Engineering qualifications would be advantageous.
Open to working in Panama shifts, days and nights.
