Product Developer – £120,000+ Bonus & Benefits – London (Hybrid) – AI Start-Up

Overview:

A fast-growing startup are searching for a Product Developer to join their expanding team. The business works with leading financial services/ banking organisations, helping them design and deliver next-generation digital and AI-enabled products that transform how complex, data-driven enterprises operate. This role is ideal for someone from an AI startup, ideally operating within the financial services sector.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable digital products and AI-enabled solutions within complex enterprise environments
• Translate business problems into technical product solutions in collaboration with consultants, engineers, and stakeholders
• Lead and contribute to the full product lifecycle including discovery, prototyping, build, deployment, and iteration
• Build and integrate APIs, microservices, and data-driven components into cloud-native architectures
• Work with AI/ML capabilities (including LLMs and predictive models) to embed intelligence into production systems
• Help define product strategy, roadmap prioritisation, and MVP delivery approaches in fast-moving client engagements
• Develop reusable frameworks, accelerators, and tooling to improve delivery across projects
• Engage with senior stakeholders to refine requirements and ensure alignment between technical solutions and business outcomes

Technical Requirements:

• Background in product development, software engineering, or AI engineering (preferably in a startup or scale-up environment)
• Strong experience with modern programming languages such as Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native architecture principles
• Experience working with APIs, data pipelines, and distributed systems
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts and experience integrating models or LLM-based services into applications
• Knowledge of data engineering fundamentals (ETL processes, structured/unstructured data handling)
• Experience working across the full product lifecycle in cross-functional teams

Package:

• Up to £120,000 Base Salary
