Senior Lift & Electrical Engineer

We are currently looking for a Senior Lift & Electrical Engineer. You will be working in Sutton. This role is hybrid working

Monday - Friday
40 hours per week
Temp Contract - Ongoing
Day rate - 392.87 per day paye

Job Purpose

• Lead the management and delivery of lift and electrical compliance programmes across residential and communal properties, ensuring all assets remain safe, operational, and compliant with statutory requirements.
• Manage lift maintenance, servicing, breakdown response, repairs, modernisation works, and replacement projects across the housing portfolio.
• Act as the technical lead for lift engineering matters, providing specialist advice on passenger lifts, goods lifts, evacuation lifts, and associated control systems.
• Monitor and manage lift maintenance contractors to ensure compliance with LOLER regulations, British Standards, safety legislation, and contractual performance requirements.
• Review lift inspection reports, insurance inspections, test certificates, and engineering documentation to ensure defects, risks, and remedial actions are properly managed and closed out.
• Carry out pre- and post-inspections of lift and electrical works to assess quality, safety, compliance, and contractor performance.
