Electrical Site Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical installation works on a large-scale residential development. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising site operatives, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and delivering high-quality electrical installations in line with project programmes.

Electrical Supervisor Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical installation activities across the residential scheme.
• Manage and support electricians and subcontractors on site.
• Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with current regulations, specifications, and company procedures.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to maintain high workmanship standards.
• Monitor progress against project programmes and report on milestones.
• Coordinate with project managers, site managers, clients, and other trades.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company policies.
• Assist with material management, labour allocation, and resource planning.
• Review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover processes.

Electrical Supervisor Requirements

• Gold ECS / SSSTS
• Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor on residential construction projects.
• Relevant electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of BS 7671 Wiring Regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong commitment to health, safety, and quality standards.
