Mechanical Fitters Required - Blackburn Meadows Power Station Sheffield
We are currently looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters to support a planned maintenance project at Blackburn Meadows Power Station, Sheffield.
This is an excellent opportunity for skilled mechanical fitters to secure a short-term contract on a major industrial site.
Duration: 7th June - 18th June
Digs Provided for travelling contractors
Scope of Works
The project will involve a range of mechanical maintenance activities, including:
Removal, overhaul, and replacement of gearboxes
Removal, overhaul, and replacement of drive shafts on rotary equipment
Bearing changes
Belt changes
General mechanical fitting and maintenance work across the site
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in mechanical fitting within industrial, power generation, manufacturing, or process environments
Experience working on:
o Rotary equipment
o Gearboxes
o Bearings
o Belt-driven systems
Ability to work safely and effectively within a maintenance team
Strong mechanical fault-finding and fitting skills
A proactive attitude with a focus on quality and safety

39 hours = 23.23 p/hr After 39 hours & Saturday Morning = 31.86 p/hr Saturday Afternoon & Sundays = 40.65 p/hr
