An established and highly regarded MEP contractor is seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to join the delivery team on a flagship Data Centre development in London.

The Opportunity

You’ll be joining a contractor with a strong reputation for delivering large-scale MEP projects across the UK and Europe within sectors including:

  • Data Centres
  • Commercial
  • Life Sciences
  • Infrastructure


Known for delivering technically demanding schemes and high-value MEP packages, the business provides fully integrated building services solutions from design through to commissioning and handover.

The Role

As Mechanical Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day mechanical delivery on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme, and to the highest quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Managing mechanical installation activities across the project
  • Coordinating subcontractors, labour, and specialist packages
  • Overseeing HVAC, pipework, plant room, and associated mechanical systems
  • Driving programme, sequencing, and short-term planning
  • Monitoring installation quality and technical compliance
  • Managing site reporting, technical queries, and coordination issues
  • Working closely with Project Managers, consultants, and client teams
  • Ensuring HSE procedures and site standards are maintained
  • Supporting commissioning, snagging, and final handover
  • Coordinating with other trades to ensure smooth project delivery


What They’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager on major projects
  • Strong mechanical building services background
  • Previous Data Centre or mission critical experience highly desirable
  • Experience delivering large-scale MEP installations
  • Good technical understanding of HVAC and mechanical systems
  • Strong leadership and coordination skills
  • Ability to work within fast-paced project environments
