Job Description
Project Manager | Workday / HR Transformation
London City | Hybrid Working (3 Days Office)
£70,000-£75,000 + 10% Bonus + Outstanding Benefits
Help shape HR transformation within a global technology organisation
We're working with a global, purpose-led technology organisation operating across health, safety and environmental markets who are continuing to invest heavily in digital and enterprise transformation across their international business.
As part of this investment, they are looking for a Project Manager to lead a range of enterprise HR and technology transformation programmes, with a particular focus on Workday and people-related systems.
This is not a role for someone who simply manages plans and timelines.
They are looking for a hands-on, commercially aware Project Manager who brings structure, energy and credibility to complex programmes, can build strong relationships with HR and Talent stakeholders, and enjoys driving delivery across multiple workstreams and partner organisations.
You'll be joining an environment where transformation is genuinely valued, where senior stakeholders are engaged and where your work will have visible impact across an international organisation.
The Opportunity
You'll take ownership of multiple enterprise technology projects, leading initiatives from early discovery and planning through to implementation, adoption and post-go-live support.
A key focus will be Workday and HR transformation programmes, working closely with HR, Talent and wider business stakeholders to define requirements, shape solutions and deliver meaningful business change.
This role offers strong exposure to senior leadership and will suit someone who enjoys staying close to delivery, values continuous learning and wants exposure to varied transformation programmes within a collaborative and high-performing environment.
If you enjoy solving problems, bringing people together and keeping momentum across moving parts, this is a genuinely rewarding opportunity.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading end-to-end delivery of Workday and enterprise HR transformation projects
- Managing multiple concurrent projects and workstreams
- Running projects through full lifecycle delivery including pre-implementation, implementation and post-go-live activity
- Gathering business requirements and developing use cases
- Owning solution blueprints and supporting roadmap definition
- Managing risks, dependencies and governance across programmes
- Working closely with HR, Talent and senior business stakeholders
- Reporting progress, risks and decisions into Steering Committees and senior leadership forums
- Managing System Integrators, third-party partners and vendors
- Driving delivery plans, RAID logs, budgets and project controls
- Supporting change requests, enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives
- Establishing sustainable BAU processes following implementation
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a confident and credible Project Manager who combines strong delivery discipline with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
This role will particularly suit someone who has built solid project delivery experience within enterprise environments and is looking to continue developing within a collaborative, transformation-focused organisation.
You'll likely bring strong implementation experience together with the energy, curiosity and adaptability needed to work across evolving programmes, multiple stakeholders and changing priorities.
You'll ideally bring:
- Strong experience delivering Workday projects, ideally full end-to-end implementation
- Around 5-10 years' project delivery experience within enterprise technology or transformation environments
- Experience delivering HR or Talent technology transformation programmes
- Enterprise software implementation experience within complex organisations
- Strong experience working with HR and Talent stakeholders
- Experience managing System Integrators and external delivery partners
- Strong governance capability including RAID, risks and dependencies
- Experience gathering requirements and developing solution blueprints
- Confidence presenting to SteerCos and senior leadership teams
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Agile and/or traditional project delivery experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable:
- Microsoft D365 exposure
- PRINCE2 or PMP
- Experience operating within international or matrix environments
Why Join?
Alongside the opportunity to work on visible transformation programmes, you'll receive a highly competitive package including:
- £70,000-£75,000 salary
- 10% annual bonus
- 10.5% company pension contribution
- Private medical cover
- Share scheme
- Hybrid working
- Exposure to enterprise transformation programmes
- Collaborative and purpose-led culture
- Long-term career growth opportunities
If you enjoy bringing people together, navigating complexity and delivering transformation that genuinely improves how organisations operate, we'd love to hear from you.
