DevOps Engineer

We are currently hiring a DevOps Engineer for an exciting client engagement.

Role: DevOps Engineer

Location: Belfast, UK (Hybrid Need 3 days/week )

Positions: 6 Months Contract Inside IR35

Please Note : Must work 3 days from the end customer's office in Belfast

Required Experience

• Principal-level hands-on engineer delivering distributed, cloud-native systems
• Solid background in Go or Java services and service modernization
• Strong understanding of failure modes, scaling, and data durability
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes, especially stateful applications
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EKS, EBS, IAM, VPC)
• Experience with Kafka or similar distributed/streaming platforms
• Solid background with Helm, Operators, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)

Nice to Have

• Experience adapting legacy or non-cloud-native Java apps to Kubernetes
• Multi-region or globally distributed system design
• Experience with service mesh and advanced networking patterns
