A globally expanding architecture and interiors studio is seeking an Interior Design Project Lead to help establish and lead its growing Aviation Interiors division in London. You will be joining a studio currently experiencing major international growth across aviation, workplace interiors and data centre sectors, with the London aviation team rapidly becoming one of the most ambitious transport design groups in Europe. This role offers the opportunity to take genuine ownership of the interiors direction within the aviation sector, shaping not just projects, but the long-term growth of an entirely new interiors offering within the business. Initially, you will lead the design and delivery of high-end aviation lounge projects, blending the operational complexity of aviation with the experience-driven quality of luxury hospitality and F&B design. Over time, you will play a key role in building and mentoring a dedicated interiors team around you, helping define standards, processes, and the creative direction of future passenger experience projects internationally. You will be collaborating closely with aviation architects, senior leadership, and international clients on projects that are highly visible, fast-moving, and design-led, with real influence over how premium aviation environments are conceived and delivered.

- You will be:Leading the design and delivery of premium aviation lounge and passenger experience projects.
- Helping shape and grow the studio’s wider aviation interiors capability as part of a rapidly expanding international team.
- Collaborating closely with aviation architects and senior leadership to ensure cohesive project outcomes across architecture and interiors.
- Overseeing Revit-based delivery, technical coordination, and project information across multiple stages.
- Leading presentations, client engagement, and stakeholder coordination across high-profile international projects.
- Driving concept direction, materiality, FF&E strategy, and passenger experience thinking.
- Mentoring future junior and mid-weight hires as the interiors aviation team expands over time.
- Helping establish best-practice workflows, standards, and creative direction for the division moving forward.
- Key Skills
- Strong experience delivering aviation interiors projects - essential.
- Background in high-end hospitality, F&B, or luxury interiors highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in Revit - essential.
- Experience across both concept design and technical delivery stages.
- Ability to confidently lead projects, teams, and client relationships.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Comfortable working within fast-paced international environments with multiple live projects simultaneously.
- Experience collaborating closely with architecture teams on integrated project delivery.
