Project Manager

Project Manager — UK Government Programme | Contract | Hybrid — UK Hub Locations

We are looking for a Project Manager (SFIA Level 4) to join our client on a major UK government programme. This is a contract role, a 60% onsite requirement, and travel expected approximately once a month.

You'll take responsibility for defined deliverables within a larger programme, working closely with stakeholders and suppliers in a fast-paced, deadline-driven government environment.

What you'll be doing:

• Taking ownership of defined pieces of work and deliverables within a larger programme
• Communicating clearly and concisely with a range of audiences — tailoring messages to achieve results
• Collaborating with stakeholders and suppliers to build trust and resolve issues
• Managing and maintaining project documentation including plans, risk logs and dependency logs
• Working to firm deadlines with direct business impact

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience delivering defined project workstreams or deliverables within larger programmes
• Strong communication skills — able to tailor messages across technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience building stakeholder and supplier relationships in complex environments
• Solid project documentation management — plans, RAID logs, dependency tracking
• SFIA Level 4 Project Management
• SC clearance eligible

Hybrid: Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol or London (60% onsite) Travel expected approximately once per month

£385/day (inside IR35)
