Project Manager – Security Application Project
£425 per day | Outside IR35 | 6-Month Contract
Central London (Hybrid)
We’re working with a leading broadcasting and entertainment company seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a key security application initiative.
This role will focus on helping deliver security controls and governance measures across application environments, with a particular emphasis on BAM (Basic Application Measures). The successful candidate will work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to coordinate activity, track progress, gather requirements, and ensure effective communication across the project lifecycle.
This is an ideal opportunity for a Project Manager who has previously worked on security-focused projects or software development initiatives and is comfortable operating within compliance-driven environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee delivery of a security application project
- Support implementation of security controls and governance measures
- Coordinate stakeholders across technical and business teams
- Gather and track project information, risks, actions, and dependencies
- Ensure clear communication and reporting throughout the project
- Help drive organisation, planning, and project oversight
- Work alongside development and security teams to ensure project alignment
Required Experience
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within technology environments
- Experience delivering security, compliance, or software development projects
- Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage tracking, reporting, and coordination activities
- Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical teams
Desirable
- Exposure to security or compliance frameworks/projects
- Awareness or basic understanding of GitHub
- Experience working within media, broadcasting, or entertainment environments
This role does not require deep technical expertise, but candidates should be comfortable working around software development and security-focused teams.
